Trump cut from Home Alone 2 - Canada

There’s uproar over a cut that was made to a favorite holiday movie in Canada. A famous scene in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” featuring Donald Trump was edited out of the movie when it was shown on a Canadian television channel. “Fox and Friends” called it “censorship.” The Canadian Broadcasting Channel is defending the cut, saying Trump’s cameo was “one of several that were cut from the movie” to make room for commercials. They said the edit was actually made in 2014.

In reality it was likely cut as they say to accomodate for commercials and program slot time. Watch any movie on network TV on a saturday afternoon or any other time and you will find that major edits are done all the time in order to fit the movie in to a 2 hour slot with your standard 10-15 minute commercial breaks. Trumps scene in Home Alone is a 10 second cameo that offers nothing to the plot so its no wonder that it as well as other scenes were left out.

Someone's asked Carpe Donktum to make a version of the movie with Trump in every scene, he says he'll have it by next Christmas. Would be hilarious if he manages it!
