    It's not Christmas until you see Hans Gruber falling from Nakatomi Plaza.

    Watched it last night.

    I saw something about that drop the other day. Apparently, his expression was genuine surprise/terror. They were supposed to shoot the scene and drop him on the count of 3. They made it to 2 and sent his ass.

    The Movies That Made Us on Netflix has an episode that covered this. IIRC, one of the stunt coordinators revealed the plan was to drop him on 3 and the coordinator told them to drop him on 1.

    That was it. Saw the preview, but havent had a chance to make it to the episode.
