Default Rush drummer Neil Peart has passed

My favorite drummer of all time and ironically, I was just watching some live performances on YouTube today of Rush. Sad day for music.

    Oh, no....

My favorite drummer as well. I knew they decided to put an end to Rush, but I didn't realize that he was suffering from brain cancer. Such a smart man that was driven to always improve his craft and had so much tragedy in his life.

    Sad indeed.

I doubt anyone outside of immediate family and friends knew. He seemed to be a very private individual.

Yeah, in hindsight it makes a lot of sense for why Rush decided to hang it up.

So sad to hear. One of my favorite drummers if nothing else for all my other favorite drummers that he inspired.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

I hope he has found eternal peace, and is clutching Selena and Jackie at this moment.

He was a truly amazing musician, and will continue to inspire others forever.

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.
