The Keg had great steaks as well, just more normal prices for that level of quality. I want to say the one time I was there the steak was around $50. It was great though.

The Columbine is a dive but it's a good meal for the price. Don't expect them to care a lot about how you want your steak cooked, what type of salad you want or other sides. You pretty much get a steak that's cooked properly, for the most part, a piece of Texas toast drowned in butter a potato and a few pieces of lettuce that resembles a salad. Served cafeteria style and they like to keep things moving. It's been a while since I've eaten there but I think the whole meal was $9 at the time. Well worth that.

^^^Pretty much right. They?ve always nailed my steaks. Salad and sides? Whatever. Texas toast - you nailed it. Drinks are meh, but fitting. I only go for the steaks, anything besides making it out of the parking lot is a bonus.

Last time I was at Columbine the most expensive steak was maybe $26 and it was the size of the plate.

We ended up at 240 Union. We came back to the hotel and I looked for Chads, but then found they were closed when I came back on here. I didnt feel like driving back to Columbine, though the thought was there. We definitely had more than 2 guns.
The steak at 240 Union was good, I got the wagyu flank which is one of the best flank steaks I have had. The price wasnt bad at $26, lots of taters and asparagus. The bread was amazing. Sadly, no drinks as the cutting begins at 0700.

240 Union is good to go. My parents used to go there a lot.
