For some context, the ERPO was discussed in this thread a while back: https://www.ar-15.co/threads/176949-...d-Flag-Request

There is another thread around here about when she filed the Red flag as well.
Post #10 in thread Gman linked.
It'll just lead everyone to believe fabricated cases are actually dealt with, or there's consequences, and so the obvious problems with it are suddenly OK. Yet, this is the only woman that will have any consequences, and they'll always point to it to pretend it's balanced.
Her argument is that they have a child in common. She bore the child and the officer killed the child.
My question would be...did they red flag the officer?
If not then why not? It is supposed to happen then you have to fight to get your guns back. Have to fight to disprove the accusations.
If you want peace, prepare for war.
Regardless, I still think their actions to detain her for a nonviolent crime were way over the top. But that seems more common among police nowadays.
I second what Gman said earlier. I don’t know who that Facebook dude was or his views on politics, but both of them saying “never let the government take your guns” is hypocrisy at its finest especially from her. Someone enlighten me please...
This is an egregious example of attempting to cause real harm to someone through an abuse of the court system as you'll ever find. If this case isn't prosecuted, none should ever be. No one is saying this law is good or balanced. And you have now way of knowing how many people will be prosecuted for abusing this law. Your comments are as one-sided and jaded as those you continue to chastise for holding this case up as an example of how this law might be abused.
Her son made poor decisions. Judging only from the bodycam video that shooting was as justified as any I've ever seen. This deranged woman can't get over her son being dead due to his poor behavior and she's tormenting the officer involved. She should be in jail. If anyone needs to be in jail it's her. I wouldn't be surprised if she eventually winds up just like her son.
I wholeheartedly approve of the way Holmes is being prosecuted in this case. Not because I think it will cause those in power to reconsider what an awful law they've created, but because Susan Holmes deserves it for her actions. I'm under no illusion this will change things for Joe Citizen, but it'll sure as hell give Holmes an opportunity to rethink her actions and it will bring some relief to the victim, if only temporarily. This is not just about Holmes.
And YouTube sensation timmybmm is a freakin' idiot.
