    Perhaps a little sad for the nostalgic folks, but necessary in my opinion. The market will be higher quality as a result. Remington can put the money into new and greater lines, that's for sure.

    The prior owner of Bushmaster went out and put together Windham Weaponry in Maine.
    Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

    I doubt Remington will improve as a result of this. They sure haven't 'improved' the brands they acquired, including Marlin.
