    Default Kirk Douglas gone

    At 103 yrs old.

I thought he was a great actor. While probably best known for SPARTACUS!

One of his best yet overlooked was, Cast a Giant Shadow.

Among them, A Town without Pity, Gunfight at the O.K Corral, Seven Days in May (written by Rod Serling), and 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.

He was also a Lt. in the Navy

IMDB: In Memoriam: Kirk Douglas (1916 to 2020)

I remember being influenced by 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea at the theater in my yoot. It was a re-run at the theater, though.

20k Leagues Under the Sea and Man from Snowy River were my two Kirk Douglas movies growing up. He had a great run.

Played 2 roles in The Man from Snowy River, which I loved (including the soundtrack).

Well, it came out in 1954. I'm not quite that old.
