    Default AR10 optic recommendations

Any good recommendations for an optic on a ar-10? Running a Primary Arms 1-6x acss and I dont like it. Preferably want to go with vortex.

Fwiw, the strike eagle 1-8x is likely sufficient for daily carry needs & the bdc is specific to the 308 (unlike the vortex s.e. 1-6x)

Xtr ii 1-8x doesn't suck & would be my choice for a tactical rifle but it's in another price point.

    Primary use and budget?

I can easily recommend everything from a dot to a 4.5-27

I'm curious what you don't like about the Primary Arms optic?

Staying with a Vortex. the Viper HST 4-16 is a good choice. Not sure if that is in your budget.

Vortex announced at SHOTshow a 1-10X by 24 mm Razor although 2900 smackers is a bit rich for my blood.
