I had friends that had them but I was more of a TEC-9 kind of a guy.

I had a Cobray M12 .380 back in the day. Was kind of fun, and actually surprisingly reliable.

I did as well in '93. Mine was not reliable or that accurate and the second time I sliced my hand open on the rear sight when charging the bolt, it was sold.

I've got a couple NFA M10A1As, and two closed-bolt semi M10 variants. Never had any of the M11s or M12s.

The semis mostly just give me a place to park uppers when I'm not using them on the SMGs.

I mostly shoot the MGs in 9mm, but I have 45 uppers and 5.56 uppers for them, too.

5.56? How do you jam a magazine of 5.56 into the pistol grip?

Some MAC uppers relocate the magazine well forward of the lower frame.

The magazine well that actually gets used, that is. The old one stays where it always is.

I did do a bunch of modular grip conversions, so they can take greasegun, Uzi, Sten, cobray mags. I've thought about doing an MP5 magwell conversion, too, but it'd only work for old style straight sticks, or the new USC style straight bodied polymer mags, maybe.

    Well I?ll be a monkey?s uncle.

Guess these things have come a long way since their heyday in drive by shootings.
