    Default Twelve more days!

I have been working in CA for the last 1.5 years and commuting between Colorado and CA. That ends in 12 days! Woohoo...cannot wait to be back home permanently. I must say there are some very good people here in NorCal. I have made some lifelong friends and will miss them. Cali remains a nice place to visit...but not live!

I have grandparents that are all alone in California. Losing their ability to drive. They aren't budging from their home either. Will be packing up the family here and headed to that shit hole in the near future. Getting a storage unit on the Nevada boarder for anything fun not allowed in the state.

Yup. CA is a good place to visit, but living sucks.

I use to visit 10 miles south folsom CA (your sn location) almost every summer during 7th to 9th grade. It was city called woodbridge.
I remember it was really hot and was golfing 5/week for 2month straight (for free) when I was there.

This was very reason, I don't golf between July to September after high school.
    I cannot take the heat.
Oh yeah, no golf carts. Just 2 wheel pull carts for entire 18.

My uncle lives in folsom, when we would visit in the summer we would always go to the American river. It's sad that CA has turned in to such a shithole. I'm sure you are counting down the days so you can get back to the cold & snow!!!!
    Don't be stupid!!!!!

Welcome back, I'm happy to be moving as close as I can to California without actually living there. I love visiting, but the thought of being enslaved as a resident sounds repulsive.

Pretty much just on a smaller scale at a local REA. Surprisingly the job is actually pretty damn good. I probably will not be leaving this position till I retire.
