    Thats what I did. Microsofty said no more support for Win 7. SSD and 32GB ram makes a superfast boot. I'm pleased.

    sometimes you might need to use a recovery image to restore the bad acting drive.
    Other times you have to re-install windows.

    I have used that link to force a full update to a current version of Windows 10 from a failed update.
