Outdoor solar lights

What critters does she hope to deter? I don't know of any predators other than shifty humans that are much deterred by low level lighting.

I use solar lights around the yard partly so I can see what's in proximity of the light not because I believe they will deter intrusion because I know they don't.

^^^This. We have a mix of solar and electric motion detection lights, even the very bright "spot" lights don't do much to deter critters and the rabbits moving around turn them on all times of the day and night.
