I was at the range/store yesterday, and asked out of curiosity (Looked at picking up a Hellcat). Was told around 3 days.

It is my guess, but They probably meant they can submit it to queue faster than box stores. Box stores probably reads 4473 about 4 times before submitting it due to their silly policies.

While at the box store they told him the current wait was about 3 days, the small shop said they could get it done faster.

It's amazing how many guns are being sold, between da virus and peaceful protesters. People are going nuts.

Went looking for a carbine for the spouse, was told there were 6 in stock @ davisdons. The counter help says i can order that, after i take care of these 2 people. Go to order it 15 min later and.... SOLD OUT!

With that said, for those needing to do a BGC at an AZ ffl. It's running 10 min, tops.

that may shave a few minutes off the process prior to submitting the form, but does nothing to get a background check performed quicker

A salesman made a claim to garner a sale that doesn't make sense? Heavens, that's shocking! Surely worth 7 posts!

If you believe everything a salesman tells you, you've got larger problems than the wait time for CBI to process your request.

Picked mine up at Cabela's in Lone Tree yesterday. Took just under 24 hrs. to come back. Once they are entered into CBI they all take the same amount of time to be processed. Up to CBI and their backlog at that point. Throughout the day CBI's estimated wait time fluctuates between 1 and 2 days. As previously stated, someone was feeding a little BS in order to make a sale.
