For the background check I had started on the 17th, I was able to pick up the gun on the 20th.

My son bought a rifle yesterday morning (Saturday) and was told possibly Monday but more like Tuesday

My guess, there will continue to be waits this long or longer until at least November. If you're in the market for something, might as well just get it now rather then wait for it to speed up. I seriously doubt we'll see same day approvals again this year.
