17Hr CBI wait times today...

Picked it up yesterday, 6 days.
Sold one yesterday, shop said 6 days at least ...

Makes you wonder.... sales continue to be up, or CBI issues, or Polis self-imposed "wait time)....

Paperwork Friday, called today.

We are going on a 7th day tomorrow. I have a feeling the clerk called the wrong number and left Voice mail.
I am going to call them and se WTH happened.

Submitted the 23rd, still waiting. Stopped at a different shop at 1pm today: '5 days'. Was thinking of going to the show in C.Springs but might be pointless. Update: picked mine up on the 5th. While waiting, found another shotty I'd like, but kinda gun-shy about long bgc.

So, we submitted on wed 4/21, and we haven't heard back even on 28th (week later). I called the store and they have no idea where our background check is at. They believe they misplaced it, and running it again. They said we will get a FREE box of ammo.

I am hoping to get a box of Hornady 338 lapua magnum

Went to pick up a gun today and was surprised to hear that it was going to probably be five days. Then when I came here and saw people were thinking more along the week, What the heck is going on? I thought there was a legal limit to how long they could sit on these? Why even legislate a five day waiting period when they have just a fact I’ll put one in?

There is no legal limit unless CBI gives a specific response (can't remember what that is) - don't count on it happening often if ever. This seems like an artificial delay, wish it could be proven so the NRA or GAO could sue the crap out of them, but with all the anti-gun stuff going on, I'm sure focus on defending against other things (bans, etc.) are more important right now.
