    You're right, but during the last big panic, when CBI backlog was about 3 weeks, I didn't hear of a single metro area FFL allowing the sale to proceed.

    I happened in to one of my preferred shops, found a really good deal on a pre-owned unfired Colt 6920 so I couldn't say no. Otherwise the other gun I'm waiting on is the 5" Colt Gunsite, bought it without being aware of the backlog problem. This problem is everywhere, the seller told me the line was too long at his shop for the time he could wait to get it shipped, will be going back tomorrow, I'm cool with that. Figure it'll be next week before I'm able to bring that one home!

    I think it also shows a whole lot more "non gun people" who may have been on the fence about gun rights are now admitting that if shit really gets bad, they'd prefer to be able to protect themselves...
