"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
-- Samuel Adams
How does it work when doing private transfers with the wait time? Does the FFL hold onto it until background check is done?
At least guns for everyone told seller to leave the firearm and pay the seller.
if buyer has a hiccup, buyer needs to make arrangement with the store.
Never complain; never explain.
My Feedback
Did they tell the seller to bring the firearm upon buyers background approval?
Most do it this way as they have to log it in their book. So even to give back to the seller they would have to do the BCG. But I can see them not wanting to do it this way if they do not handle consignment or do not have the space.
Guess you should call the place you were planning on transferring and see how they do it.
Just in case anyone "needs" a reason to buy a gun...
