One thing that we will almost certainly face is that some time, probably very soon, some nut case or multiple nut cases will commit a mass shooting. It will cause a panic all it's own and be used by the media and politicians from now until the election. It won't bode well for access to guns and ammo in the short term, or for our freedoms in the long term.

Where? No more mass gatherings for mass shootings other than grocery stores.

More a financial than political impact but...

It seems the federal government has extended the tax filing deadline until July 15th this year.

Polis has extended the state tax payment deadline to the same date.

What about the filing date for state taxes? Do you think I still have to have my state taxes filed by April 15th?

Politicians are absolutely horrible about putting anything in writing that isn?t just vague and full of gray areas and open to interpretation.

They are discreetly separate and it may be a valid question.

The fed made July 15 the deadline for filing and payment.

If Ray is correct (I haven't checked), Polis may have only announced an extension for payment....
implying that you may still have to file state taxes on April 15. (Doubtful, btw)

Exactly.

The IRS specifically called out extending the deadline to file. Polis didn?t say anything about filing. Only that the payment date had been extended.

I?ll see if I can manage to post his letter.
