I was hyped when first revealed. My dad always wanted a vette, plan is waiting a couple years to see what major problems arise first. He maybe should just snag a previous gen for cheap though since I'm not sure he'd appreciate some of the modern scifi looking stuff.

Yep. After much anticipation for years.

I'd want the supercharged 6.2. I'd also be going through tires like crazy. Would be a cool car to have, until someone saw me trying to get out of it.

Cool car. Will be interesting to see how well they hold up over time.

Now THAT car looks like it whispers, "zooooooom" even when parked.

So the Corvette design has finally caught up with the late 20th century.

Would love to have one and start getting tickets again.

I toured the Bowling Green plant about 10 years ago. I fit in well with the demographic of mid-50s.

...though I was there because I'm an engineering nerd. Had toured the Toyota plant in Lexington a few days before. Unfortunately have to say that Toyota has their $#!+ together in comparison...

Did the Toyotas have signature plates on the engines as to who assembled them? Bowling Green isn't exactly trying to crank out huge volumes.

Jean shorts and white New Balance will still be the required attire.
