What's the current status of gun, magazine, and component inventories around town? I'm amazed there was so much available stock to cause a 13k backlog at CBI...

I'm pretty stocked up. 😘

Speaking for Gunsport in Boulder, I have never seen their semi-auto handgun cases so empty before (80% gone), and the DA revolvers are 50% gone. Usually what is left are higher end 1911s, .40 cal pistols, or 6" magnum revolvers. Tactical or basic riot shotguns are completely gone.
Did you go into the stores or did you look online? Many do not have what they list online actually in stock, it?s from their distributors.
I have been trying to stay away from most all stores with the craziness going on. And I been so busy with work, hard to get out during the day.
I know alot of Springs gun stores have been selling non-stop. Dragon Mans seems to have good inventory, and he's been giving away TP with each purchase. A long time ago he used to offer a free ski mask with every shotgun purchase, but with the warm weather around the corner I think the TP is a better gimmick.
Ark Tactical is getting restocked quickly. As of this morning they had a full wall of long guns and many full cases of handguns. Mags and ammo are being restocked daily. They have pallets full of inventory arriving daily.
I'll echo that, ARK was pretty much stocked back up.
Whistling Pines East & West in Colorado Springs have OK stock.
I think the places like Cabelas and Bass Pro got hit so hard, so fast because non-gunnies knew they have guns from seeing them while picking up their BBQ grill in the past.
Non-gunnies didn't know about real gun shops because they'd never lower themselves to go in such a place.
But now their google-fu is kicking in.

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

Stop, Drop & Shop (SDS) in Colorado Springs has firearms and ammo (also some bulk ammo) in stock.
They are limiting customer purchases to 2 boxes of each caliber.
Here is a link to their USED firearms inventory.

They get shipments all the time to restock new gun inventory.
They have suspended person to person xfers due to storage space concerns.

I am so glad SDS is in Springs. Its too far so it saves me a lot of money. Those guys are amazing. If they were closer, i might "need" the Beretta o/u and maybe another 700 in .30-06.
