    Default AR15.com

I swore off the site for the longest time, signed up for an account to use to their EE for NVG gear. Got everything setup through my ISP email, and then swaped it over to protonmail for security. Now they locked my account for using a VPN. I have heard of some dumb shit, but this takes the cake. Its like mods have a hard on for banning. The whole point of the VPN is security. Just my gripe.
    Thanks,

I hardly post on any sites, so it's not an issue if they ban me, but I did want to get in on their EE for NVG gear. I have my a eye on dbal i2 and Trijicon thermal. Most people buy this stuff and not really use it, so if I can shave a 1- 2k off a used thermal it would be good. We are getting a hog problem on my property back in La, so both it's needed to protect the crops. The Dbal i2 mounted on my AR with my PVS-14 on my helmet, and the thermal will go on my LMT MWS 6.5 creed/.308. Probably will be swapping it back to .308 as it's pretty thick jungle in spots, so no real long shots unless I am shooting across a field. I plan to put an ir light bar across the top of my 4-runner, my brother has a set of dual NVG unit I can use for driving so it should be a blast. Only time he uses it is for taking the SXS out at night to look for coyotes.
    Thanks,
    R

I only use arfcom for the random deals that pop up on their EE.

When I was in Oklahoma I joined an OK-centric forum similar to this. Ultimately didn't participate in the discussions much. I definitely prefer the regular community aspects here.

I don't get all the hate, As long as you stay away from the GD arfcom is an awesome site. There is tons of knowledge there in the technical fourms. I have been helped with problems more times than I can count. Arfcom has been a great resource over the years just like this site has for me.
    Don't be stupid!!!!!

I wasn't on GD, I hadn't even postred, I had just set up my account with my centurylink address, which is what they wanted, but I was on a VPN. The email went to my centurylink address and I setup my account, then I changed the email over to another email provider which is allowed, then after they flipped out for some reason and banned me. If you read in the forums, guys are using VPN there all the time. It's fucking stupid moderators, I feel like I am back in the 90's with OPs playing power trips on IRC. Oh well, I will just buy what I need somewhere else.
    Thanks,

They use to enforce EE rules heavily. Good part was they will suspend or ban welcher/flakes.
Public shaming fraudster or con artists.
Members who live near fraudster will even go near their place etc (back in 2006ish ). I dont know how they are now. I haven't posted there for a while.

    btw. Possible ibtl.

I have a hard time believing that you got banned for using a VPN, I am a mod over there and have never heard of such a thing, if you want to IM me your info, I can look into it for you, or if you don't care, so be it.

Just to be clear, I am not calling you a liar, just suggesting there was a mistake somewhere along the process, and that I am willing to help.
