I submitted on Wed 4/22 and got my letter Friday 4/24, for reference. Also, check your junk folder as the letter comes from a different sender (
TR_CustomerService - DOR, DOR <dor_trcustomerservice@state.co.us>)than the confirmation of application (Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles <dor_dmvcommunications@state.co.us>).

Has anyone tried to do a new (used car) registration and title with no emissions required?

I briefly looked at the website and I thought you could do that but I am not sure.

Has your name, VIN, vehicle type, etc. Last paragraph pasted below.

Note to law enforcement personnel: Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, state and or county offices have

They replied to me twice with "use the attached letter" and no attachment.

Had to follow a link to fill out info and get some kind of "letter" because I can't get a new registration for vet plates because "the machine is broken" and COVID is making repairs unpossible. Must be Chicom parts printing our US of Fukn A plates.

That said, since it's a new dealer purchase, I'll also go to them before the temp tag expires and they can issue a new one.

Should be doable. I couldn't because the plate imprinting machine for vet plates is apparently broken.

For those needing to do a DV plate registration:

Regional VA is not longer able to be directly contacted. Have to call National and explain it to them:

    1-800-827-1000

Menu item: (speak) letter/forms; explain to the Agent who answers that the VA form letter from the website WILL NOT work. They need to provide a letter stating:

    1) 50% or greater
    2) Service connected
    3) Permanent

5 business days turnaround time. Can have it mailed, emailed, or faxed (!?)

    CO State specific:

    Application: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sit...pplication.pdf

    Checklist:
    https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/vet...cense-plates-0

    PDF Checklist:
    https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sit...hecklist_0.pdf

    ---

I still have my old DV plates, so I'm hoping I can just use those.
