Shooting out a glock 20 gen 4. I understand the gen 4 have a better supported chamber.
Also from what I believe I'm reading the coated projectiles are safe to shoot from a factory glock barrel?
Anyone have insight?

Why even worry about it. Either buy a after market barrel or don’t shoot that ammo.
Tho it will make me a begger in the streets burn it if you must

Not direct insight, but I've shot all kinds of ammunition in my Generation 3 Glock 29 and not had problems. If all you have are those 20 rounds, I'd shoot a few, inspect the brass, maybe look at the bore, and if things look good, shoot the rest of the box. Then, really inspect the bore when I cleaned it.
Have fun, and post a range report.
should be no issue with the coated bullets. if there was my glocks would have Kaboomed some time ago.
The issue was, or may still be with glocks and shooting lead was the way the rifling is done. Even then while cautioned by glock about shooting lead. Cleaning more often was supposed to solve that issue.
As mentioned an aftermarket bbl runs $100-150. depending who's having their usual friday sale.

You will be fine shooting 20rd of lead through your glock. If you were gonna be putting 200rds then you might have some issues.
Don't be stupid!!!!!
I'm another guy whose fired thousands of rounds of powder coated rounds through factory glock barrels with no issues.
I bought a Lone Wolf barrel and never looked back. No lead build up or lack of accuracy.
Biggest issue with polygonal rifled barrels and lead is if you shoot a bunch and then follow with jacketed bullets. Pressures can get really high.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

Seems like a great reason to buy another 10mm.
