    Default Wholesale powder?

I know someone in the market for approximately 80lbs of reloading powder. Is there a good place to get powder at wholesale for someone who isnt a retailer?

Powder Valley is about the best you can do. They sell retail and wholesale and are distributor for most manufacturers. Nice people too.

5 are under test. These include:
    CFE-223 (dirty)
    TAC
    BLC-2
Varget (metering unit accuracy not so repeatable)
    H335
And an oddball powder that I'm not going to bother to spell because it's a little to no info situation.

No. He wants 77lbs of 1 type of powder, just hasnt determined which one yet. Those are the candidates. Someone sent me a good lead on BLC-2, so that's the next up for testing.

Depending on what results he is looking for, surplus powder would probably be the lowest cost. Surplus versions of H335 and BLC2 are readily available at significant savings from canister pricing. You just need to know how to process powder that has more lot to lot variation than canister powder.

That is a lot of powder to keep in local storage. I think I would consider purchasing a surplus magazine or having some dedicated storage away from my house if I had the land for large quantities of powder and primers.

I also recommend PV, and it wouldn't hurt to give them a call to see if they could supply that much powder or make recommendations for where to look for a wholesale supplier. PV is located just south east of Wichita KS and they do pick up sales. It is an easy drive from there to anywhere on the front range. Very nice people and easy to do business with.

We have received a few resources to obtain some of the powders on the list.
Previous to this list, I, as well as others, have volunteered for storage. We should be OK. Just have to wait for my buddy to do some testing
