Default Hello from the left coast.

    Hiya like minded freedom lovers.

Was searching for opinions on ACOG reticles and found y'all. Will have to spend some time looking about. Glad to have found you.

Over here in what was formerly the bastion of liberty, WA, we have a similar group; perhaps not so narrowly focused on the AR platform, but many AR enthusiasts there for sure.

Latest build: M4gery. 14.5" SOCOM barrel. One of the goofy extendo A2 FH's pinned. KAC rail. Scout light. Standard OEM buttstock. Matech rear.

Having just seen a video called "Gordon's Carbine" by 9-hole reviews, I may try that next.

anyhoo. that's enough of me talking about me.... let's move on... what do YOU think about me?

Don't worry, AR15's are one of the last things we actually discuss around here.

    Howdy.

    ACOG reticle, you say?

I have a TA-31H-G that I aim to get rid of, now that I’m back at altitude.

I have used the standard red chevron, the fancy crosshair one, and finally this green horseshoe.

I prefer the green horseshoe. In a 30 yard dynamic engagement of two dogs in my pasture in Oklahoma, I found the horseshoe and its center dot handy in dispatching them while they were running. I’m not sure I would have liked the chevron as much, and definitely not the crosshair version.

I recognize that name. Howdy jukk0u! I use the same avatar here on your home forum.

Folks, this gentleman does an amazing job of keeping his shooting community up-to-speed on the attempts at degrading the 2A rights in WA. They have a solid core group of folks over there.

    Welcome!
