    Default Very light handguards?

I need a handguard in the 9" range. The lighter the better as I'm going to carry this rifle for 60 miles. Faxon looks good, but is out of stock everywhere. I'd love to find something in the 6oz range or even lighter. I know about the goofy carbon fiber woven thing. Too wild for me.

I swear there must be 100 handguard manufacturers. It's a chore wading through it all.

    60 miles carry?

Not sure if its up to date but there is an AR15 weight database out there. Might be a good source.

Lancer makes a lightweight carbon fiber handguard that's 8 inches.

If you want metal, Odinworks makes a lightweight handguard, though the lengths seem to be 7.5 or 9.5 inches.

Or just go with Hoser's advice and get the Gucci PRI tube.

Just run it without a hand guard for the ultimate weight savings. I would recommend maybe keeping an oven mitt handy.

BCM KMR (original magnesium) with aluminum barrel nut. Be aware that actual length is a smidge over nominal.

Is this related to the one time we were talking next to MCP3?

I talked myself into the Brigand woven thingy. It looks ridiculous, but it sure is light!
