    This is such a brilliant move.

    The courts in Oregon have simply been letting out rioters who have been arrested, without bail, and many with charges dropped, so they can riot again the very next day and sometimes the very same night.

    The city/state also told the feds to get out.

    So, the feds (US Marshals) have cross-deputized the state police. Oregon State Police officers are now state LEO's and Federal LEO's. And that means they can arrest rioters for federal offenses which go to federal courts, bypassing the sympathetic DA. The US Attorney's office isn't so sympathetic and is going after protesters aggressively. No more revolving door. And what's the state going to do, tell all the State police to leave? Can't do that...
