I feel like the potential to accidentally knock that over and start a fire on the roof is higher than it being a legitimate deterrent that doesn't result in a very interesting lawsuit.

When you're looking at bumps, pay attention to the nvg shroud. Team Wendy, HardHead Veterans both have metal shrouds whereas ops core and protec's bump both have plastic shrouds.
Team Wendy, the boa wires can ride where your earcups go, but the boa isn't necessary if you have your straps adjusted correctly. Team Wendy's peltor adaptors are AWESOME. They 'click out' and rotate back. I butchered a set of Howard Leights (just cut the wireframe, once cut it rotates to slide out. Don't mess with any plastic.
Consider what you're going to run on the rails. Opscore has that awesome Amp system that moves your earpro attachment to the rail behind your ear, freeing up the horizontal rails for a iff light or whatever.
Team Wendy's new 3.0 rails have 3 slot pic rails integrated, perfect for a princetontec or something small.
If you're going to stand around wearing nods you'll want a counterweight too. Check out TNVC's mohawk. There's a few different types of mohawks, and for a good budget counterweight check out HardHead Veterans counterweight.

I would be too lazy to gear up and defend my business. I?d likely just lock it up and leave and count on the big insurance payout if anything happened to it.

Homes and loved ones are worth defending. Everything else.... not so much.

Maybe a dumb idea, but by the time you get to the point of having a helmet on, maybe a camera on the helmet would help deter people from doing dumb things. Probably not, and might end up more incriminating to the wearer in the end. Just a thought.

ray1970, you might be right, but when you build a business, you have a different relationship to it beyond just the place that you work; logical or not.

Based on what I've seen the last 5 days cameras have almost no deterrence when things escalate.
