    Default Suppressors

So I've been looking into getting a can for the EBR for a while now and have come down to the Stainless YHM Phantom.......

Then today of all days I jump on AR15.com to read about suppressors and the first post is a Black Friday deal on Gemtechs Halo for $399.

Now I'm thinking should I just stick to the YHM or go with the deal on the Halo?

I have a Stainless phantom incoming soon...pending as of right now. hopefully by christmas.
if you can wait I can give you a report on it.

I really like how it is a QD. it is full auto rated.

I am kind of cautious of how the halo attaches and you need an A1 flash hider. I think you might lose a little POI with the Halo vs. the Phantom. thats my opinion though, not fact.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

POI with the halo (depending) on which rifle it is on is negligible.
you have less issues with A1 vs. A2 f/hider with the indexing.
the only 2 guns i have dedicated A1's on are the AR's.I inserted an A1 f/hider in the halo and secured the mounting mech. This way i can run it on my other .223 bolts and single shots w/out needing a f/h for each.
The halo is heavy compared to other .223 cans. This does make any recoil almost non-existent. I do like the halo on my AK106. as close to movie quiet as you can get out of a center fire.
If you'd like to road test the halo lmk

$399 is a heck of a deal. If you decide to buy I would buy from a stocking dealer so you aren't waiting a really long time. My AAC is on order and it sounds like 4-6 months and then it's 4-6 months for the transfer.
