OMG - What Have I Done - Revolver Test With RDS

So I got this 629-6 5 inch which I enjoy the hell out of



and I like RDS so..........



I ordered a mount from Raptor Engineering, unfortunately it doesn't provide a BUIS for co-witness but since this isn't a primary handgun it'll be OK. I like Trijicon products, use RMRs on Sigs and Glocks, so I got the SRO. I chose the SRO because it has a bigger sight window than the RMR, I picked the 5 MOA dot, easier to see. I ain't gittin' any younger dammit.

I plan on using it Sunday, zero at 25 yards.

I agree. I’d probably shoot my blackhawk a whole lot more with a dot on it for fun.

What you’ve done is improve it. Watch accuracy go up and fun increase.

Looks good from here. 5in 44mag with full house loads will get every persons attention on the range. I had the exact gun minus red dot it was bad ass but couldn't get it to not split serious lead and after 2 time back to S&W and not being fixed I got rid of it for a 686.

Got it zeroed at 25 yards, SRO provides a really nice sight picture...and it was more fun.
