    Default Dog thief

Neighborhood friend had a strange man at the door distracting her while a woman was in her backyard trying to lure her two young dogs. Neighbor saw the lady in her backyard messing with her dogs through a window.

Lady said she was putting the dogs back after they got out. She had to move a trash can to gain entrance to the backyard and the dogs don't get out. Bad people were recorded by security camera and they left together.

Sheriff was called and and was able to track down the couple living two blocks away with several other valuable easy to sell dogs. I don't know anything else.

I have ordered a camera and spent the day resetting some motion lights. I don't feel paranoid pocket carrying around home anymore.

I pocket carry at least a NAA Mini at all waking hours, with magnitudes higher firepower available in seconds. Too much stupid shit around here.

G19 AT ALL TIMES, even at home in "comfy" clothes (typically gym shorts and T), I have a carry method for the 19.

Add a working dog to the group. It?s like a 1911 for small dogs.

My wife found a puppy and posted on Nextdoor. She immediately had a LONG message from some asshole saying how they'd "really like to get that dog before the owners, because look how abused it is, and I can take better care of it, blah blah blah." People can be trash.

So it sounds like the two loony tunes from a couple blocks away were caught... but what kind of charges are they subjected to and what would y’all do if someone was caught stealing your dog? I have a hard time believing it’s alright legally to shoot said jackass if they’re caught stealing your dog... even if it does amount to a felony in the “dogs value equals” category.

I don't think anyone will be stealing my 65lb pitbull, she would tear the shit out of anyone who tries to come in the yard. Cable installer( box is in our yard) learned that the hard way one day, should of knocked on the door first.
    Don't be stupid!!!!!

That is very low. Pretending needing help, and sneak into someone's backyard to steal a dog (or anything).
That being said, I think ccw/OCing pistol and ARpistol at home is very important.
