Yes, great museum. Went in not expecting the gun part, but only had 3 hours before close. I need to go back next time I get to Yellowstone.

I haven't been to the museum in Cody but it sounds great. There is a small Museum at Buffalo Bill's grave on lookout mountain, that has a few firearms.

Museum is great. Also visit the dig up gun museum.

Careful if you drive through the town of Mills, they finance the town with tickets.

Looks better than the John Browning Museum in Ogden,Ut. And that is a shame. I enjoyed the Browning Museum very much. But I was in the area and took a liberty to check it out.

Funny... I went for the firearms museum and Yellowstone was the side trip.

I have been to the Browning museum as well. It is also terrific, but not nearly as overwhelming given the scale and firearm brand variety in Cody.

There are also other places in Cody worth spending time looking around. The Irma Hotel and Silver Saddle bar are interesting. Irma was William F Cody's (Buffalo Bills) daughter and he named it after her.
Where abouts did you live? My wife is from Powell so we spend some time in those parts.

Admission price includes entry to the Center for two consecutive days.
Buffalo Bill Center of the West members enjoy free admission!

I have spent the two days a couple of times when visiting. I planned with two nights stay in Cody.
