We are good for now.
Fire is still zero percent contained. Winds are lower today and humidity is up and temps are down. Air assets on fire this morning just got pushed back by lightning squall that is passing through. Hopefully we can get the rain and keep the energy far enough away to allow crews to stay on their game.
Two hotshot crews on the fire along with local woodland crews. Engine assets staged for structure protection.
On another note....SAFER AT HOME ORDERS....WTF?!?!? I got those conflicting with my Evac orders....Now I am confused!
Yeah, gun stuff is heavy.
Screw that SAFER AT HOME BS, ignore those morons and their stupefying stupidity.

My mother is a district ranger for the USFS down southern CO.
Due to covid the fire plan from the top right now is fast attack with a small group that is isolated from the rest of the department if they can and if it is safe to do so.
if not pound it with aircraft aggressively normally smaller stuff is monitored and maintained
