I have 2 SW99s from that incestuous relationship. S&W did me right when I screwed up and bent the slide stop spring on my SW99 .45. I sent it back to S&W on their dime via FedEx (as they suggested), enclosed a note saying I screwed up and gave them my information to charge me for the repair. They fixed it and sent it back, no charge.
There was a problem with my SW99 .40 Compact as some customers were having a problem with cracked mag followers. They replaced my followers and threw in an extra mag for my troubles.
I've had nothing but good service on my S&Ws.
Never had an issue with my P22/PPQs. Now that they're out of Ft. Smith, AR, maybe it's better now?
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

Yea that was shortly after they got sued by glock for the sw glock line. I had a p99 in 40 that after 60 rounds of factory started peening the guide rails.
Sent it back 3 different times, the first two the sent it right back saying " aftermarket modification was not included in warranty", I responded by saying that their guns weren't supposed to shoot bullets?
The last time I got a hold of a dude who actually knew what he was doing and I sent it directly to him and he replaced it for me. I got it in the mail and promptly sold it. Figured if I wanted german gun in the future I would just go HK. Btw I miss my USP Tactical in 45.
Never have bought another sw semi or walther again. I will own sw wheel guns but thats about it.
The only problems I ever had with the p22 was the ejector roll pin working out, had the first 2 generations do that to me. But by the third gen it worked perfectly.
