It looked to be several times higher than the tallest building in the video. Amazing.
Impressive for sure. Looking at some of the buildings probably a k away blowing out the glass on the opposite end of the blast is amazing...
There's going to be a lot of people with superficial scars even a long ways from that.
I heard 300,000 folks were rendered homeless because their homes are now unlivable.... that’s gotta be worse than the superficial injuries in my opinion.

Reports out that the new swimming hole is 141 feet deep....
A bit ridiculous
Two things struck me on this. The first was the numerous "sparkles" in the initial cloud which seemed like individual munitions going off then the effect of the shockwave just tearing through all the buildings between the dock and the camera like they were papier mache. Utterly incredible to see an event like this unfold in slow motion in high definition. Am sorry for those who were killed or injured by the blast as well as those who are homeless or destitute after this.
Did anybody else notice the camera shake after the explosion and before the shockwave hit? The explosion apparently registered like 3.5 earthquake. Wouldn't surprise me if the explosion traveled faster through the ground than it did through the air.
Here it is on YouTube:
Even with the slo-mo, you can also playback even slower at 1/4 speed.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.
