I don't think the GBU has any propulsion. It just flies like a glider. It does have some extremely sophisticated navigation systems. It is noted for being able to see through smoke, bad weather etc.
I really want one of those FLIR gadgets now. Anybody here got one? Are they that good? Might be handy in a riot.

I looked up some videos of MOAB (GBU-43/B) blasts the same day it happened too for comparison.

A MOAB blast by itself is small beans compared to the explosion in Beirut. A strombreaker would be even smaller.

Stormbreaker PLUS 2,700 of ammonium nitrate..maybe. Why send a huge warhead when there's plenty of explosive material just sitting there already?

Sorry guys and gals...There is too much info to strap on a tin foil hat in this case.

Ammonium nitrate becomes unstable over time, especially in a humid environment. I would like to pull up backing evidence, but comunistube has this insistence all over, and I am too lazy.

Ask yourself why did this happen? And keep drilling down..

My belief: negligence on epic proportions.

I agree. I think someone was negligent and/or lazy and didn't do their job. After looking at and listening to evidence it sounds like exactly what they initially reported. The only question in my mind right now is what caused the fire.

I read a early article that mentioned someone was welding and that started it. I have read so many viewpoints, I can't wrap my head around it. From what I can tell, the ammonium nitrate melted and went down the drain. According to the .gov reports when it melts and gets into pipes and combines with various other substances, it has tendency to detonate very easily.

There are enough details about the negligence, including official documents linked in the zerohedge article, that I think that's pretty likely the truth.

That said. The truth is so bad the citizens there are pissed and protesting their shit government for killing so many people and destroying a city.

So, enter the narrative change. NOW the president there says, maybe it was a bomb or rocket....

    gotta deflect the blame.
