Re read the article. It states that only a minority of officers would be armed, not “only minority officers will be armed”.

These people are stupid enough, no need for us to assist them.

Yep, thanks. I was just coming back to fix that. Damn public school education. A horrible use of the word ‘minority’ when a ‘small fraction’ is a better way to put it.

I’m taking nice pics of the house while most stuff is still blooming so we can use them when we sell the house next year. Done with the city, wife doesn’t understand how far out we’d have to go to get away from all the stupid. Time, life, jobs change and it’s a natural progression but recent events have catalyzed our timetable to get out of the city. The wife would leave now if we could find some thing that she liked. I’m more worried about interest rates, but I’ve been worried about interest rates for 40 years.

Funny how most of the objections and reasons to vote against it are "we didn't have enough time to consider or to discuss with our districts" or "we didn't like the way it was done". Not too much in the way of "I voted no because it's a stupid effing idea and shouldn't even be considered."
