    Default I Like Turtles

    Not really but hi.

    Hey everyone, late 30's guy here from Castle Rock. I'm married with 2 boys and more hobbies than I know what to do with. Although I've been shooting my whole life, I just recently picked up building and shooting the AR platform about 4 years ago. I belong to a bunch of forums from RC planes to offloading but it never dawned on my to join an AR site, pretty excited to have found this gem. Been lurking for quite some time so it's nice to finally say hi and hopefully start contributing. My background is aerospace but I'm a tinkerer of all things mechanical and/or of interest, hence the love for the most modular firearm on earth. The work bench is never empty. At any time you'll find some sort of crazy project from high endurance solar powered UAVs to guns. Currently, I'm building an ultralight AR10 elk gun chambered in .338 Federal and hate the lack of parts in stock. Thanks for letting me in the door!
