    Are you using rattle can/krylon type or something longer lasting like dura-coat?

    Using a M1A for High Power? Thats just crazy talk. Expensive to shoot/maintain and they kick too much... Good for boat anchors though.

    My first two I used Krylon. The new paint is similar to Duracoat, but quite easy to remove, should one want.

    And stop hatin' the M1A! REAL men don't mind recoil!

    I shoot High Power with a NM M1A, and I liked it so much I got a non-NM LRB M14SA to go with it. In between I picked up a .308 Garand. And when I really want to have some fun, I shoot High Power with an issue Air Force NM 7.62 Garand.
