Well, that's why I'm offerring to do it for you! When it comes to the M1A, there is such a wealth of stocks out there, and it isn't too difficult to just remove the paint from the stock. I didn't do the metal because I do plan on using the rifle in service rifle matches in the future, and will want it to look "issue".

I meant for anyone to do that, FWIW I was once upon a time a painter in body shop. I have no worries about paying or doing it myself. Just no balls to do it either way as I know I would get tired of the "new" look and all that.
