    Default Flora Pictures.

There?s a thread for fauna, how about one for Flora.

This isn?t wild, but cultivated. The first peppers from my planter garden.

I?ve actually been enjoying a few Thai chili peppers put in what is for dinner for a few days now, but these are the first Chocolate Ghost peppers to ripen.

Don’t know yet, saving them for the weekend in case I am overwhelmed from the heat.

The Thai peppers put some zing into a dish if I use 5 or so in the pot or pan.

My apologies if you are referring specifically to cookable flora I have to pull photos off phone, but uploaded video to YouTube... 4 minutes of peace and quiet at one of the inflow streams to Trappers Lake up in the Flat Tops. Spent the day around the lake.

This area was part of the 2002 Fire, very few trees even thinking about growing 28 years later.

As Adrian Cronauer said d “It’s damn hot !!!!!!” Couldn’t resist, oven dried the chocolate peppers and put a few little slivers on a ho made breakfast burrito. Man, it was so hot I could feel the burn when it exited the next day.

Got a camp tripod grill off of a member here a few years ago, it was getting time to bring my pepper plants indoors to see if I can get them to survive through the winter into next spring.
I repurposed the tripod into a light stand. We will see how they over-winter indoors.
