We have about 4 inches down here west of Trinidad. Last night we had lightning and thunder snow. I wonder what 2020 is going to show us next, or should that question even be brought up?

64f inside our house without any heater on so far.
If it goes down to 62f, we will be turning it on.
Good lord, my wife is cold blooded and if our house gets down to about 67f, she will either turn on the gas fireplace, turn up the thermostat, or start a fire in the wood burner. Heck, at 70 she puts on extra cloths.

Still have two hummers hanging in at my house. Probably be mowing grass again come this weekend.

Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

72f in here. At 69f, I get a SMS alert, at 67f, the space heater next to the bird cage kicks in. Bird looks pretty uncomfortable below that.

My wife is worried about the hummingbird s. She was changing out food several times yesterday to give the room temp food rather than the 34 degrees outside food. She has gone thru 25 lbs. of sugar for them this summer.Attachment 82952

We have ten to twelve on the two feeders all day long.

That's amazing. I've seen 2 hummers in the past couple of days. Am planning on putting the second feeder back out.

We had hummingbird and lots of offspring until 3 days ago. Then poof, they're gone for the year, maybe.

This is why I'm willing to deal with 115? during the summer, perfect weather while CO is getting shat on with snow. We still have plenty of "hummers" here.
