While I respected her adherence to her values, I disliked RBG severely. I won't trample or tap dance on her grave, but I won't pretend she did this nation any favors during her SCOTUS tenure.

Trump needs to get a strong conservative nominated right away and that person needs to be confirmed with all due haste. This is a rare chance for conservatives to use the same tactics the libs/socialists have been using against us for decades so that we can rack up a win that could have an impact for decades.

Whoever is even a possibility of being on the "short list" for nomination needs to have some serious security provided to them and their families RIGHT NOW and until the next Justice gets confirmed. Have no doubt that the extremists on the left are already considering how to eliminate those they don't want taking that seat.

I have no doubt Trump and his team already know exactly who they will nominate. Everyone was expecting this as a possibility. Just a week or two ago Trump announced a possible list of candidates. I'm sure all possible choices have been thoroughly vetted already.

I bet they announce by Monday/Tuesday. No time to spare.

The announcement will most likely wait until RBG services are concluded. And that's appropriate...even if it takes a week or so.

I would've rather seen her retire. If she'd retired I wouldn't care if she was immortal. I just didn't like her on the court.
