    Default Taser X26

I have a chance to purchase a used Taser X26 (not the X26C civilian model). Any advice on things to be aware of? I see that I can purchase a new battery and extra cartridges easily enough when the original ones are used/wear out. I know it "works". Just checking to see if anyone else personally owns one.

I use to flip/resell those before X2 and X3 came out. I remember those use to cost about $450-550 at a secondary market before X2 came out. X26 are rock solid. I personally like the yellow one.
Long ago, you can buy those batteries on ebay. Not anymore. Some dept still uses X26, because it is easier to find a accessories and holsters.

Does it use a special battery? You'd think they would use a standard sized Li-ion battery or some such.

THe M18 and M26 advanced taser did use bunch of AA batteries. It was a huge size taser.
