Okay, playing detective here.
For internal control purposes, all the chips probably have to be counted at the end of each shift.
So, not knowing how many tables there are, I am guessing 18 at the most as listed on line for the Golden Gates Casino.
Guessing max of 8 players at each table during a tournament.
Looking online, estimates of 100 chips per player for planning a tournament.
So 18 Tables times 8 players times 100 chips equals 14,400 to start.
Then, in case of cumulative wins that are held by the players, the bank better double that number, so 28,800
If the casino buys chips 5,000 per order, let's say 30,000 chips total.
And, if a prudent manager was worrying about a worst case scenario, probably add another 5,000 just in case.
My guess, then, is 34,750, because there are always people that need a token to take home and actually slip out with one.
