Hey! They should outlaw cancer next! That's how this works, right? You pass a law and magically something currently impossible happens?

    Yah!

Then they could make it a law that everyone be a MILLIONAIRE. That would solve all the poverty in the world.

Is this going to lead to a nationwide firing pin shortage?

Having done a lot of research on all the microstamping crap from a decade ago, I recall that a guy patented the "machine" every which way possible to corner it, then spent millions in lobbing to make it a law. These legislative pushes are everything that is the worst about America, and it's literally pocket-lining corruption at its core.

I was born and raised in Southern California. I lived there for 27 years of my life until 2015. I had my objections before I left, but I was never a gun owner like I am now. It's definitely "home" but unfortunately because of crap like this, I'll never permanently live there again. I spent 6 weeks there over the summer with my wife and kids staying at my Mom's house in SoCal, realizing very quick after about week 2 in of my vacation why I left there in the first place. The politics suck, the general attitude of people sucks, paper straws and 10 cents a bag at a grocery store sucks, and the gun laws suck even more. I went shooting with my Dad at a local range around Christmas last year and I'm not joking....got warned by the range officer that my dad "loaning" me his H&K 45 to shoot it for 1 minute was illegal....I had to sign about 10 pages of waivers to go shoot with him because I was by legal means an Idaho resident.

Before I left, I remember Southern California Edison and the infamous "brown outs" during the summer. What kind of civilized society cuts off power on the grid during 100+ degree weather??? What state bans gasoline cars effective 2035??? If Newsom could have his way, he'd ban the 2A there all together and leave you with nothing but a sharp stick to defend yourself....oh wait....he'd take that right away too.

I'll visit all day long, though. My wife and I are huge Disney fans and we go to Disneyland often....too bad Disneyland wasn't in Colorado...or a more Republican state. I fear if it doesn't open soon it's going to go belly up.
