That's what I'm hoping for...getting the weight down to make this more easily manageable. I want off the meds as soon as possible if I can control this thru diet, weight loss and exercise.

Go buy an electric bike. You will lose weight, exercise and have fun at the same time. I have been riding them for years, and took a friend in your situation last year for a ride. He bought one, dropped 45lbs in 3 month, and loves it so much he started a bike shop just before the pandemic.... The last time he rode a bike before that was as a teenager.

Do you remember your first bike? The joy of riding, wind in your face, freedom from parents? Then one day you tried to climb a hill, and it sucked... Then at 16 you put your butt in a car and never looked back. Now, imagine, with an ebike, the hill won't suck anymore.... Ill bet you a case of beer, if you try one, it'll take hours to lose the grin on your face after your first ride.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about an e-bike. Not keen on the prices I’m seeing but Louis Rossmann (does a popular Apple MacBook repai channel on YouTube that has had diversions into the stupidity of NYC real estate and Hizzoner the mayor there) uses one for his daily commute and it looks great (as long as you don’t buy stupid batteries that catch fire). I’ve been trying to get details on the setup he uses (or maybe used ... don’t know if he’s settled on a replacement yet).
