Anyone have any experience with these, especially on a pistol? Pro, con? Bad idea, or no problems?

Have one. I like it. It does add a little weight to the rear/overall, but in general not a big deal.
It is probably overpriced for what it is, but it's well made and is pretty easy to install.

I have one on my multi-use pistol lower. Looking at it by itself I think "why did I pay so much for this thing?" It's really well made, though. Tight lock-up and smooth opening. I like the one I have but I don't know if I'd buy another one at full price.

Kinda cool. For sure it is a nice to have and not a have to have deal.
The wont work with some blow back guns like a PCC lower in 9mm with the tungsten plug in the bolt carrier.

I like mine.

Would love to get one for the pistol I just built!
