That's really cool. We did some neat things in my seventh grade shop class.

Thanks for the thanks everyone. Yea We has a cool teacher, we got to do cutting boards out of corian( my mom still loves them), turn ink pens on a lathe, mirror etching( made a sweet light up Camaro sign), cast aluminum in casting sand, build sheds and dig houses, and some wood projects. I’m hoping when my son gets to high school they still have shop class. Learned a got of good lessons there.

    Looks nice!

My high school had no shop classes. Did get some in during middle school. I guess it?s good I was forced to do a lot of work around the house when I was a kid.

I remember summer of 2000, my middle school class went on a trip to DC. We visited Colonial Williamsburg and spent a lot of time trading quarters with the staff there, since they had DC mint coins and we had Denver mint coins.

That would be cool. I was lucky enough to have grandparents living in Alabama so I could get the pilot ones pretty easy

I like that. Took a good teacher and some skill to make it.

Wouldn't take much skill, in a metal class, to make an air powered blow gun and darts that had enough velocity to puncture a car tire that was driving down the road.
    NOT that that ever happened.
