Remember a few years back when the Obama administration was trying to make a big deal about gun control, and someone pointed out that they were failing to prosecute slam-dunk cases of prohibited persons failing background checks and/or lying on 4473s?

Joe Biden specifically said that they "didn't have time" for those prosecutions:
